Neptune's Dive College

By now you already know the benefits of nitrox. The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD) Advanced Nitrox Diver Course, will teach the proper and safe use of Nitrox up to 50%. This course is a great addition to your PADI Instructor Course, and the first step in Technical Dive Industry.

In today's rapidly growing dive industry, new dive instructors need to be not only  highly qualified, but also current on all new diving techniques and technologies.

By mastering the Advanced Nitrox Course's academic and diving skills you will be considered to be one of the elite dive professionals in the industry, and with this recognition comes the increased job employment opportunities.

This course is fun, exciting and most definately challenging. If you think you have great dive skills before completion of this course, then you will amaze yourself on the improvements you will experiance by attending this program. We highly recommend this course to those divers who want to experiance the pinnicle of dive education.

Master the skills of the Advanced Nitrox Course and you can consider yourself one of the very few elite divers who can claim membership in this very selective group of dive professionals.

The IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver Course program is a pre-requisite for obtaining your IANTD Advanced Nitrox Instructor rating. The course runs in two parts, first the academic portion where you will learn and master the advanced Nitrox theory, advanced decompression, equipment configurations and choosing the best one for you.

The second portion is the confined and open water diving sessions, using first single tanks with side mount decompression stage tanks, and finally graduating to double tanks with multiple Decompression tanks, using NITROX mixes of up to 50%.

In the open water portion, with your newly configured equipment you will complete over 240 minutes of dive time, during which you will complete and perfect a whole range of required skills. Your skills will include; out of air simulations; no mask swims; gas sharing; emergency shutdowns and equipment removal and replacement, all of course combined with proper dive planning and CNS monitoring.

Your training team will be with you throughout your dives and will be evaluating you continually.

To participate in the Advanced Nitrox Course it is strongly recommended you have at least basic technical equipment. As part of your internship you can choose the Tech equipment package in lieu of the standard equipment package. The Technical equipment package can be used with single tanks and therefore you are not require to have two separate equipment configurations.
